Hi UK, here they come! Huge start of bird migration from the Waddensea westwards. Currently an bird migration traffic rate of 9000 birds per km per hour. Enjoy 😉
Sunday at Belvide was a great day all round. A busy vis mig inc a Goshawk creating a corvid riot,a very productive work party, topped off with more birding and a few thousand gulls in the roost in 5 YLG.@WestMidBirdClub

Belvide today saw the drake Lesser Scaup still. 4 GWE 2 little & 2 Cattle Egret. 2 Redkite 2 Shelduck. Tundra Bean showed again also peregrine YLGull and my first Autumn Goldeneye. 2 Stonechat were in front of the Westhide as were 4-6 Little Grebe.@WestMidBirdClub

2hr vis mig off the dam with a nice mixture of species, 18. ♀️ Scaup,& the ♂️Lesser remain. 5 GWE 1 L Egret. 1 Garganey, Stonechat behind the dam. Tundra Bean remains. The BNG was present yet I didn't see it. @WestMidBirdClub
An evening visit to Belvide for the Autumn WInGs survey was good. Plenty of Gulls with the majority of large gulls coming in from the NNE. 1W Caspian 4 YLG 8 Com Gull 1064 BHG 3750 LBBg. 7 GWE 17 GP and my first Redwings of the Autumn. 44 west. @WestMidBirdClub
