How Porto was able to stunt our press with the use of wide CBs in buildup.🧵

It hurts that people like this are going around with that many followers. But that’s social media for you.

Arteta cannot be trusted with money, that’s been proven by now

I have somehow found myself with a timeline full of people questioning Arteta. Does anyone know how I can remove accounts ran by children under the age of 18?

Ah yes, as opposed to last year where Arsenal famously didn’t need any last minute winners….

The worst part is we haven’t been nowhere near as good as last season and we have been lucky this season with last minute winners against bang average teams. We aren’t progressing at all at the moment which is worrying. And we have spent £200m in the summer. Arteta sort it out

Please don’t leave ESR for too late. Replace Ø with him.

Just too tired. Festive period is too tough when you’ve got 3 options for midfield only.

ESR has that game changer mentality that I would always stick by and protect. RCM to give more dynamism to the RHS (Saka). ESR goes against a lot of the tacticos on twitter because they only use data from cheap websites. An eye test tells the proper analysts a players value (ESR)

There’s a tough balance that Guardiola took years to find at Manchester City which is that you need players who can benefit you systematically whilst also being a game changer. Haaland didn’t win City the Champions League. He was just the final piece of the puzzle.

Like why are people complaining when Arsenal have clearly shown they can see out games better than ever before. Anomalies like last night don’t happen often.

I don’t want to disrespect any of our own players because of course I wouldn’t swap them out, but an argument could be made that West Ham have the same if not more attackers that change games off of minor moments.

You want to know where we need to improve? Game changers - elite game changers. Controlling a majority of a season then of course I take Arsenal’s attackers. But we need those guys that win you games off their own backs - Alexis Sanchez

Ok, so Martinelli has been hindered by not having a proper LCM in front of him this season. He still performs his role to a high standard and that has gotten us 2 points off the top in a volatile league.

Where can we improve? The exact same place as where we could have 12 hours ago - a superstar forward. But not before we secure the midfield.

Unfortunately that’s what’ll happen in some games. Tbf to West Ham, they are a team who specialise in winning the big moments which is what has gotten them to where they are - set pieces means a lot.

Reduce their transitions and beat West Ham easily.

Liverpool vs Arsenal lived up to the hype. It was an EXTREMELY high quality game of football.. Below, in an in-depth thread, I break down: - Arteta's new system, - Ødegaard's Bernardo Silva-esque role, - The tactical battle, - and Liverpool's performance as a whole. THREAD! 🚨

Jürgen Klopp is trying everything to make Anfield count for something. As much as i admire the Anfield atmosphere no amount of crowd is going to save you on Saturday. #LIVARS

From Hayters TV

The Anfield factor is the main stumbling block for Arsenal. All other aspects we are superior.

“Patrick Vieira used to tell me, ‘Get on the ball. If you lose the ball, that’s fine - but get on the ball’. They knew I could bring that ability to start building from the back.” - Kolo Toure. @gunnerblog @TheAthleticFC
