I think the main reason why players aren’t more open is because, at least in England, there’s all this nonsense as “appropriate behaviour” and all, and so people are very easily offended by things out the norm. In reality, this kind of openness should always be welcomed.

This is a bit technical but Hojlund made 73 high intensity runs whilst we had possession against LEI despite the fact we only had the ball for 30 minutes. He's basically making a lot of these sprints which says a lot about the system he's been playing under. Change needed.

I'm just looking over Sporting's player-minute data under Amorim. There's a lot of rotation there. Often times, you can get a good idea of a team's main 6-8 players just by minutes alone but it's not easy with Sporting under Amorim. Possibly a sign of things to come with United.
Fletcher's a very good person to keep around. A lot of people at United, past and present, testify to his knowledge and insight into very fine details especially regarding player mentality. This is a good decision.

Dalot spoke about the influence Ronaldo had on him in terms of recovery and fitness, and I’m sure he’s had a similar effect on Garnacho. It’s unsurprising both of them, especially Dalot who’s more developed physically, are very reliable in terms of availability.
We need more athletes like this in our team who can play this amount of volume without injury
Honestly, in the time period we've had these injuries, he's been a constant. 44 in a row is crazy work especially since a lot has been out of his position. He didn't perform well at all last time round but that happens. He needs some rest for a bit just to reset.
