How relaxing <3

Congratulations to the #MBTA Red Line on a new all time record of 83 minutes of slow zones, about 15 minutes worse than it was when the systemwide slow order was issued a month ago

A friend sent this ChatGPT. It’s too good: “Women shine like stars, Solar bros, afraid to gaze, Miss out on the light.” Hey Solar Bros. Don’t be afraid.

@MBTA⁩ is this correct? 14 min headways at rush hour? Please tell me this is an issue with the countdown clocks, the platform is already full 😭

On June 6 Cambridge MA City Council will consider cutting back Memorial Drive/Riverbend Park auto-free hours to Sunday only. This sanctuary for pedestrians, children, youth, families, cyclists & artists is an urban jewel. Please sign the petition to protect it. @jandev @crschmidt

Memorial Drive/Riverbend Park is more than just a place for people to bike; it's a place for people to gather safely outdoors, away from the noise+hazards brought on by cars. Sign+share our petition to show your support for preserving this valuable space! tinyurl.com/SaveRiverbend

@nytimes⁩ ⁦@DLeonhardt⁩ again with the “good morning” followed by some horrific headline. Reading this was the most uncomfortable part of my morning. Please stop. This morning is not at all good.

The median annual pay during the Great Depression was 22% of the cost of an average home. Today's it's 14%. That means that pay relative to home cost made it easier to buy a home during the Great Depression than right now. This is absurd.

Hmm, why do we get a federal holiday to celebrate presidents day but not to elect one??

We are not in an either-or situation. We need voting rights and we need Build Back Better. We need to save our democracy and our planet. We need to pass both bills before Christmas and deliver for the American people.

If we can afford paid leave for cops while they're investigated we can afford paid leave for parents while they raise humans.
