The Hotel Texas today is the Fort Worth Hilton. I stayed there twice on business. This photo can be seen on floors of the hotel.

IU beat Ohio State in 1987 for the first time since 1953. Earle Bruce got fired at the end of the season.

New story: Everyone is shocked by Indiana being 10-0, except the players on the team who were 10-0 last year. A dozen James Madison transfers who came with Curt Cignetti to IU are proving they can win in any uniform and at any level. bit.ly/3AVyTld

Because, at the end of the season, the Cowboys won’t have to. McCarthy’s contract will have expired.

Bob: You’re an entertaining sports writer. But let us Indiana fans enjoy the moment. IU has beaten Michigan *11 times ever.*

Indiana not as great as billed. Michigan not as bad as suspected. Wolverines waste terrific defensive effort in 20-15 loss. Davis Warren can battle but can't make the big throw when needed. Michigan's lack of explosiveness on offense is fatal.

They don’t exactly carry a tune, but I am happy…

OMG. Indiana was the first Division 1 school to lose 700 football games! Let us poor IU fans enjoy the moment.

Seeing complaints about Indiana “running up the score” at Michigan State is unbelievably hilarious. #iufb #NeverDaunted

Indiana University 9-0 for the first time in football. 1945: IU goes 9-0-1. Northwestern tied IU early in the season. IU was the Big Ten champion. 1967: IU goes 9-1. IU won the first 8 games, got creamed by Minnesota in game 9. IU defeated Purdue 19-14. IU was in a 3-way tie.
