Research by @BirthTrauma found only 4 in 10 people are aware that #childbirth can cause #PTSD. This is despite 1 in 25 developing #postnatalPTSD after birth, and many more developing some #trauma symptoms. A lack of awareness can reduce identification and treatment for #newmums🤰
