No words! Most heart wrenching news today. Can't imagine the pain his anticipating family must be going through. #ParachinarBleeds

My beef is not with you, it is with the impression of justifying the amendments. And my question is, what good is to come out of it? Was IK right? Is the ruling party right this time?

Talk about glossing over history.

I should be grateful to this government For rationing amount of time in days or weeks on X/ twitter w/out VPN Now I can pour out all repressed thoughts and nonsense this hour. One minute before it gets banned again. Yay

But they all had been on the same page, each in their different time of course.

Please tell Imran Khan and PTI that this is an opportunity for unity. The ball was thrown in his court on this issue quite some time ago.

IK presented dilemma for the political and non political state's stakeholders for power. There's no denying IK cld never b trusted, as he is a totalitarian., but how politics shaped up with CoD torn to pieces, and army itself scrambling for unity among ranks, needs to be studied

Every1 knew who IK was. a political failure in more strong confrontation to his backers. However the tables turned, whatever IKs position now, he is now in their shoes n that was an opportunity for unity. Backing the backbreakers by whoever now or in history, is not justified.

Only after their backs were broken by the Imran Khan same page regime. I'm no supporter of any party, but at least draw the full arc instead of compartmentalizing one phase of this connected series of events.

And this is a shameful highest count reflecting on quality governance in the world.

An absolute failure for Pakistan's health sector as politicos compete on which party has better hospitals to its name.

The Vespasianus Titus Tunnel is a 2,000-year-old engineering marvel – a massive tunnel dug through a mountain that was built to divert floodwaters threatening the harbor near the ancient city of Seleuceia Pieria in what is now Türkiye. According to UNESCO; it is one of the most…

Being on good books always on a repeat, though in post 2008 and first ever smooth civ transition of power in 2013, we should have been able to see good democratic precedents by now, but seems, no lessons were ever learnt. PDM turned out to be mere crumb-collectors too ultimately

How surprising, given that PTI was the original same-pager in the most recent cycle of history.

What is not coming in mainstream news. I hope for sanity to return. #ParachinarBleeds

Kurram District: Armed individuals attacked passenger vehicles traveling from Peshawar to Parachinar, resulting in the deaths of two people and injuries to one woman. The incident occurred in Lower Kurram, Ochat area. MNA Engineer Hamid Hussain condemned this tragic attack and…

Look at these children. They love their river which was destroyed by diverting for hydroelectric plant. Now the same organization tries to divert River Swat for another project Madyan Hydropower Project. @WBG_Climate @World_Wildlife @WorldBankSAsia

My extension wire fused with a spark. The able electrician at the shop just tweaked nscrewed the loose nuts, and it got fixed it with a guarantee of a life time. And here we are acting all thankless at extension warranty of a mere 8 year We should be more grateful. Alhamdulillah!

The gravity And the velocity of breaking free Keeps us in orbit Keeps us always to desire chasing away from it. The paradox of freedom

This is exactly what I pointed out in 2020 during initial criticism and doubts over intentions behind Single National Curriculum.

The key reason for religious segments rallying behind JUI-F were amendments to the Societies Act — as a result, the regulation and registration of seminaries have been transferred back from the education ministry to local administration,” Mr Syed said… 1/2

Judicial review is a power courts have the world over. That is what it's const role is amongst other things. I don't see why parliament has to encroach judiciary's space as a response to claims that judiciary encroaches their space. This tit for tat hurts foundational concepts.

Absolutely, there are concerns on the amount of time allowed for public deliberations ( document made public very late),and intimidation. The thing I also agree with Senator Ali Zafar, that such amendments will remain contentious. The processes need to be questioned

seems like an inevitable law that had to come in response to judiciary overstepping it's mandate. In principle, don't you think there had to be a deterrent to keep the parliament working without judiciary meddling or striking down it as seen in the past, and more often recently?

JCP had to a large extent agreed to reform the JCP rules. It was the AG who suggested they don't do that as constitutional amendment was coming. What parliament has done is a disservice to that and the institution as whole. Unforgivable!
