Vaccines are good. Anti-depressants are good. Modern medicine is good. Fluoride in water is safe and protects teeth.

I would love to tell you about the times vaccines prevented me from getting sick, but every time it happens, I don’t notice. I just keep feeling well. Neither do you. Public health, when it’s working, is invisible.

Honored to be a part of the @apa issue "Rethinking Resilience and Posttraumatic Growth" We rethink the notion that resilience is an individual psychological trait. People's ability to thrive is dependent on the multilevel support they receive — from policies to relationships.

This what a religiously insular and insecure society produces. The classism is also top notch. He distributed sweets to the ‘homeless’. Were these homeless not Muslims then? Do religious chonchlay only matter when you’re rich?

This Diwali, I received tons of sweets from my Indian friends, including the delectable Mysore pak, all the way from Mysore, India. As always, I didn’t taste any and instead shared them with the homeless. I love my Indian friends. They hold a special place in my heart, even more…

Listen I like homegrown sustainable slow fashion really - but some of you are charging one month rent for a cotton shirt. How? Why?

I know this isn't like, a popular leftist analysis, but at what point do we acknowledge that her simply being a woman might be the reason she loses

Everyone who uses 'woke' as a derogatory term should know that it comes from an African American way of saying 'awake,' as in a person awake and aware of the world around and his or her choices. What would you rather be, asleep and unaware and uncaring?

This, right here. Women know what's really at stake. Men will only cackle and joke because it's not their body. Joking abt this means you joke about the possibility of the deaths of American women if they end up being denied lifesaving medical care when it's needed. For shame 😒

All the men on the tl joking lightheartedly about the election and all the women actually being scared and nauseous. what in the dystopia

WhatsApp history is supported by a network of popular authors, publishing houses, literature fest, and an audience who want history to match ideology. Indian academic historians fight propaganda while popular authors play to the gallery! That’s the truth that remains unsaid.

Something that makes me very sad is that most women don’t have anyone to do this for them. They take care of everyone else in their lives and then also must take care of themselves too. Many women do not receive anything close to the kinds of caregiving they provide for others

Just to be crystal clear, “I feel fine but my wife made me come in” has a positive predictive value for something being *really* fucking wrong that approaches 100%
