Internship is our right! @GovUganda must #DeployAllMedicalInterns Internship is not slavery, it must be paid internship. #PaidMedicalInternship @MinofHealthUG @KagutaMuseveni

Deploying medical graduates for internship should be a priority. @MinofHealthUG should not make it look like an inconvenience! Medical interns are a resource of utmost importance to the 🇺🇬 health system. @GovUganda ensure you #DeployAllMedicallnterns #DeployAllProspectiveInterns

Many thanks ⁦@MirembeDr⁩ Your unwavering advocacy for the deployment of all medical interns with pay, as emphasized during your recent appearance on ⁦@ntvuganda⁩ is much appreciated. ⁦@MinofHealthUG#DeployAllMedicalInterns as soon as yesterday!

We shall start seeing medical interns fainting on ward. Hunger leading to hypoglycemia is real. #DeployAllMedicalInterns #PaidMedicalInternship

The first person you’ll see in a hospital is an intern doctor, who may not provide the care you deserve if they are not paid, have poor accommodation, or lack proper food and clothing. If their basic needs are not met, they may not be mentally stable enough to offer you the best…

@fellowugandans let's learn how to appreciate good, and respect our health workers. It's evil to forget our foot soldiers who fought for us months ago from @covid19 They deserve better, #payallourmedicalinterns

MEDICAL INTERNS: To Pay or Not to Pay. I’ve seen raging debates on whether interns should be paid or not. I think it’s a wrong debate. We don’t really pay interns in this country. We give them a subsistence allowance. We basically hand them enough resources to keep them…

Wherever it is that @ParliamentUG decides to hold sittings, we request that the subject #DeployAllMedicalInterns is addressed & a way forward, provided. We shall join in on #GuluSittings2024 to remind you, our leaders. Issues concerning health, are issues of life & death!

It's quite absurd that the medics were taken as heroes during COVID 19 pandemic but afterwards the govt has forgotten the crucial roles of medics, can we all once again recognize these medics #Deploy all the medical interns and prevent unnecessary future backlogs @AmongAnitaam

#DeployAllMedicalInterns to stop this brain drain at its genesis

You are right on point. And in the end, the government will say, that they don't have who to appoint despite the high numbers the ministry of education is releasing. #DeployAllMedicalInterns #DeployAllProspectiveInterns #PaidMedicalInternship @MinofHealthUG @mofpedU

@jessica_alupo it's interesting that you care about the youths. Many of them that opted to do medical courses graduated and are now not allowed to practice. The @MinofHealthUG didn't deploy them. @Thomas_Tayebwa @BalaamAteenyiDr @GorrethNamugga #DeployAllMedicalInterns

Imagine an estimate 2711 medical graduates 2025 cohort, if added with 2024 cohort that as of now is being held back from deployment. I think then it will cease to be BACKLOG but rather a NATIONAL CRISIS #DeployAllMedicalInterns @RobinahNabbanja @ParliamentUG @Thomas_Tayebwa

It is such a great theme for the youth but see 1327 youth interns are left out, we can only be covered if we get deployment for all. We appeal to you His Ex @KagutaMuseveni @mofpedU @MinofHealthUG @JaneRuth_Aceng @BalaamAteenyiDr @Thomas_Tayebwa #DeployAllMedicalInterns

Well said ⁦@jessica_alupo⁩ However, let's recognize the 1,327 un-deployed medical pre-interns who have individually acquired the skills you speak of, some over the course of 5 years, but continue to bench at home. Does this meet govt's agenda to embrace science education?!
