Working on something pretty special at the moment for my PhD, with the help of @wwf_australia This 160g juvenile greater glider (P. volans) was a field trip highlight 😍 #greaterglider #ecology #wildoz #conservation #wildlifeconservation #australianwildlife #womeninstem

One of my sites exactly 12 months apart following the 2019/20 bushfires. Most of my sites now look like the photo on the right which has taken bush bashing to a new level but also made for a very interesting small mammal survey season #wildoz #blacksummer

(New from me): With so few left to sing to, the regent honeyeater is losing its song smh.com.au/environment/co…

I’m on my third season of small mammal surveys and have caught my first ever eastern pygmy possum at one of the sites burnt by the 2019/20 bushfires. The forest has a long way to go but has started to blossom with banksias. Non-bitey-pretending-to-be-cute photos attached #WildOz

What's better than a #roundfrog? #babyroundfrogs! Lots of #frogs out and about in #NSW, many likely the result of the heavy February rains throughout much of the state. #WildOz

A few more white-footed dunnart friends from the field. Safe to say the love was not reciprocated, but good to see more of these ferocious floofs in my sites burnt by the Black Summer bushfires #wildoz

I’m a little late to my own party but my first first-author paper is out! The blackberry wounds and stern conversations with R have been worth it. Massive thank you to my amazing team of co-authors @Anthony_Rendall @TimDoherty_ @dracoetsee @EuanRitchie1🐱@DeakinCIE @ZoosVictoria

Holding the chunkiest dusky antechinus I ever did see. Glad to see this guy thriving in a patch of forest that escaped the bushfires #mammalwatching #WildOz

A ferocious 12g dunnart to brighten up your day. Caught this little guy in one of our fire affected sites on the NSW South Coast as part of my PhD research #WildOz @SydneySOLES @Sydney_Uni

Horrifying photos taken from Evan's Lookout & Govett's Leap in the Blue Mountains - taken by Nina Lipscombe. I've already taken a box of valuables from our home up in the mountains. These photos are just so frightening. #australiaburns #bluemountainsfires

I used to believe all the scientists in the world when they said climate change was real, but recently a guy on Twitter with the handle Davo075677643 or whatever with a fish as his profile pic recently told me climate always changes so I guess there really are two sides to this.
