Crikey- you may be right ⁦@elonmusk⁩ - it feels like imminent civil war in London this evening - people from all races and religions sitting in the sun, having picnics, walking dogs, playing frisbee, enjoying the greatest city in the world. #edgy

We're at the stage of #medtwitter where the violent misogynist r*pe-apologist med reg anon account is being treated like a legitimate source of discourse by a trust & many on here, whilst he doxes a matron working in said trust. Why? How did we get here?

Nurses are applauded the loudest when they stay "in their place". The "good girls" of nursing espouse that we don't need degrees, that there should be no ANPs or nurse consultants. The applause is to drown out the "naughty girls" & keep our 90% female profession subordinate.

That is nothing; try being a menopausal nurse wearing a polyester dress, 80 denier tights, plastic apron, and gloves and going into the shower room to support a patient having a hot shower. 🔥

The temperature in our AMU Doctors office has been consistently 30 degrees everyday this week. At what point are we concerned about the health of the staff? 🤨

Are you a frontline clinician, patient or family member who has experienced boarding or the push model (being sent to wards or clinical areas with no bed available, proper bed space or privacy)? #journorequest contact @Rebeccasmt

I am not sure it just misunderstood; for some #medtwitter ‘campaigners’, nursing is just another profession to attack.

Advanced nursing practice: is it under attack? The advanced nurse practitioner (ANP) role is misunderstood by some – as highlighted in the debate over physician associates and comments on extended nursing skills. We look at the issues and hear from ANPs rcni.com/nursing-standa…

Agenda for Change has lost sight of our value. After 20 years, three quarters of our members are on the two lowest pay bands possible for registered professionals. Nursing needs a fresh start and a new place in health care: bit.ly/4aqrqHq #FairPayForNursing

Singapore General Hospital has a programme called Get Rid Of Stupid Stuff. I want to hear from NHS staff about the stupid stuff that wastes your time, patients’ time, and taxpayers’ pounds. Let me know how you think we can deliver a better NHS here 👇 labour.org.uk/improve-our-NHS

UHB culture of wilful blindness is off the scale. Expert in Sepsis is not able to contribute to his own employer's own Sepsis group.

Despite multiple requests, I’m not invited to contribute to the #sepsis group of my own Trust: which speaks volumes. The culture needs to change. This lady might have survived if it had.

As an organisation we get our comms department to review senior appointments' social media (likes and follows included) as due diligence prior to interview. Amazing what behaviours people are willing to declare online for all to see.
