“AI safety” wrt language models is basically the game Simon Says. The original prompt is Simon, and the user trying to get it to do nefarious stuff is the not-Simon instruction. Creating adversarial prompts is trying to convince the model you’re Simon.
Are there LLMs designed to update existing code instead of just writing new code?
