People act like #selfpublishing success is somehow less significant. But screw those people! My book was a #1 new release on Amazon, became an international bestseller, and was featured on several major networks. Don’t let someone else’s fear/ego dictate your path! 🧡
#Selfpublishing is hard work but the contracts being offered by major publishing houses are as bad as the record deals from the 90s. Without a huge following your advance is small (around $1,000) and you still have to do a ton of marketing yourself.
I am an advocate for gentle parenting but as a boy mom it’s hard finding the right balance. I believe hard times create great men, great men create good times, good times create bad men, bad men create hard times. Can’t make life too easy for him or it’ll handicap him.
