We've created these clocks ⏰️ Then tell ourselves That we ought to be at this point at a certain time Then we push, grind, and hustle Constantly checking and measuring Questioning where we appear to be behind schedule Who told you your life revolved around this clock? ⏰️

Congratulations to Chidimma Adetshina and a word of appreciation to @benmurraybruce for taking action that turned a shameful episode of African self-hatred into a celebration of African unity. It doesn't happen very often, but good triumphed over evil this time.

Last Monday, I took exactly 32 minutes to go from Adeola Odeku, Victoria Island, to Emmanuel Keshi, Magodo. I left VI 4:15pm. Unheard of in Lagos normally. Transport is the blood of any economy. If Nigerians can't afford to move, #Nigeria's economy has died.

I spent a day with a Nigerian who buys cheap abandoned houses in London, renovates them, and then sells them for double the price within 3-6 months. It got me thinking about how if you bought the same house at, say, £263,600 and just put it up for rent at £1,223 per month, it…

It took me 10 years to summon the courage to tell this story 🥺❤️ Today, 10 years ago, the life of the one in whose womb I was formed was cut short 🕊️. It should never have happened 💔 We told everyone she was sick but in truth, she wasn’t. My family friends on this app will be…

The things that touch my heart ❤️🥺. My painter finished painting and decided to clean my whole house. He mopped everywhere and even washed all my window blinds. He already got his full payment upfront but I’ll now surprise him.I was deeply touched. There are still great artisans.

I have watched people try to sleep their way to the top. It doesn't work. They are just doing giveaway. The way to the top is hard work, focus and a sprinkling of luck. Anyone telling you otherwise is deceiving you.

If it was possible for women to sleep their way to the top, there would be more women at the top.
