I have major critiques of DSA in general and NYC-DSA in particular. I am not very active in the org anymore. But if your response to seeing people take their first steps towards socialist politics and practice is to sneer and condescend, what kind of organizer are you?

What’s misleading this graphic is Trump didn’t add votes. He had 3 million fewer than ‘20. What this doesn’t show you is Harris got 14 million fewer votes than Biden did in ‘20. Because no compelling case beyond “not that guy” was made to show up for her.
The question is why did the country swing so far right? One obvious reason is the Democratic Party in power provided no alternative program for working ppl. So yes, it was about Harris/Biden etc not being left enough

My favorite thing that the US left does is drive an irreparable wedge in a movement that is 1% of the population over a difference in strategy, while everyone on both sides knows full well neither strategy is going to work at all. It rules.
