Seems like that could be the case...I just don't see how that gets a thumbs down. I saw Slamboree 2000 in person. I know a thumbs down show when I see it, and while it's not a 10/10, it's certainly a 5 or better...the Fletcher v Ospreay match gets it there by itself.
@bullyray5150 I might be wrong and hopefully so but it seemed like a couple of matches we weird before they got in the ring. Ospreay/Fletcher and Mercedes/Statlander. Noticed it more with Will Ospreay. Entrance was like a funeral. They are all super talented. Love pro wrestling.

This is a first for me, but I'm going to say in the middle. Matches of the Night were Ospreay v Fletcher and Mercedes vs Statlander. I loved them both equally.
6/10 Mercedes & Kris MOTN followed by Ospreay & Fletcher. The ending was WCW 2000s bad
High,... Fletcher/Ospreay, OC/Mox Statlander/Mercedes...the ending with more players confronting Death Riders. Low...Takeshita/Riccochet, Perry/Garcia....these did feel like cooldown matches. The AJ Match was fun on the pre card.

I’ll admit this show started off ROUGH. The first two matches was not it. But once the Mercedes/Kris match happened it brought back the PPV back to life. From middle to end was either good to great. Favorite match of the night was Ospreay/Kyle . PPV was a B+ #AEWFullGear
Crowd despite being tired in the final hour was still better than the crowd at Forbidden Door that was mostly a funeral until Ospreay vs Swerve.
Full Gear really showed how high the floor can be on a PPV event when you have a talent lineup as strong as AEW. That was probably the least I’ve enjoyed an AEW PPV in a while but I still feel like I got my moneys worth. Roll on the C2.
