I cannot put into words how much I deeply hate this rhetoric from the governor. 4.2 million subway rides per weekday, and she just cannot wrap her mind around how travel works through Manhattan.

Another way Democrats should show their ability to competently govern is to put an end to rampant license plate scams that are *everywhere* in NYC these days.

Vickie Paladino is such an odious person. Nativism is a terrible ideology for elected officials, especially one from Queens, where about half of the population is born outside of the US. If you live here, you’re a NYer.

Endlessly wild to me that San Francisco had a vacant 300-acre site less than a mile from the CBD and they only let it build out to densities approximating an up-and-coming Dallas suburb.

Hi Councilwoman Vickie, I am a born-and-bred Brooklynite, not a transplant, and I’d like to “redesign our entire city” because I want it to be as diverse, affordable, and pedestrian-friendly as possible. There’s no way you’re about to gatekeep the world’s most diverse metropolis.
Transplants who just arrived in New York don't have the right to insist we redesign our entire city according to their agenda just because they hate people who own cars. Sorry we're not Barcelona or Amsterdam. Go be a transplant there if it's so great. I said what I said.
