So proud of @laura_hielscher passing her PhD viva! Her research into feeding problems and weight in children with #downsyndrome is really interesting and important, and she did a wonderful job of reflecting family experiences in her viva.

So pleased to have passed my PhD viva yesterday. I can’t thank @EmmaHaycraft and @NualaRyder enough for being such wonderful examiners and for facilitating such an insightful discussion about this topic that is so close to my heart.

First day back after maternity leave and I've just had a paper accepted! Now for a hot cup of coffee in peace and quiet. Honestly difficult to know which I'm more pleased about.

The video of the Making Positive Moves findings is now on YouTube! youtu.be/Oy_bJreYte8?si…

Our @moves_positive shows the foundations that support people with learning disabilities to live their best life after moving out of hospital settings. Lots of powerful examples and stories shared at our conference about what these foundations look like for different people.

The four key foundations of the @moves_positive model are feeling safe, making choices, belonging and busy and happy with who I am. These foundations look different for everyone.
