No Washington players? Hard to imagine that among Lewis, Duncan and Johnson that one or more should’t be included. Also Washington should be a top 3 pre-season pick or does there always have to be a Peoria team in there. Doing your homework is important.

Former Bradley Men's Basketball Player Greg Berry passed away yesterday in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Greg lettered in 3 sports at BU - basketball, track and golf. From Manlius, Il. Berry, 77, was a career member and leader in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. RIP good friend.

This is the 1961-62 Washington Panther Elite 8 basketball team, coached by the legendary Dick Van Scyoc, who passed away recently. Arguably the best team in school history as this teams accomplishments, listed below, came in a one class state basketball tournament.
The Washington High School Boys Basketball program mourns the passing of former player Tom Frost. Tom was a starter on the 1985-86 and 1986-87 Panther teams. A sweet shooting guard with a high basketball IQ, Tom was a leader and a GREAT teammate. RIP #20.

Saddened by the passing of Randy Bukolas, WCHS Class of ‘83. “Buk”was the lone non-senior starter on the 1981-82 Panther conference and regional championship team. Randy was as the ultimate team player. RIP big guy.
The passing of longtime Washington Panther fan Ron Schroen ends an incredible run of volunteerism and loyalty to multiple sports at the school that exceeds five decades. His contributions should never be forgotten. RIP our friend.
