JUST IN: It will be Pekin vs. New Lenox Lincoln-Way West at 7 p.m. Friday at Memorial Stadium in a first-round Class 7A playoff football game.

JUST IN: Pekin (7-2) will play host to New Lenox Lincoln-Way West (6-3) in the first round of the Class 7A playoffs. Pekin is the No. 13 seed and Lincoln-Way West is the No. 20 seed in the 32-team Class 7A field. Pekin has won five straight since losing 19-9 to Washington.

FINAL: Pekin 42, Canton 7. The Dragons are 5-2, 4-1 and have qualified for the state playoffs. They will play host to Limestone in Week 8 and travel to East Peoria in Week 9 to wrap up the regular season.
