A sincere thank you to @saliva_direct and @awyllie13 for adding the @AppliedBio QuantStudio 12K Flex to the existing SalivaDirect EUA. It allowed us to double our COVID-19 testing capacity without having to spend time and resources developing our own LDT to use the 12Ks. Kudos!

Proud to join @NCCDE’s Matt Meyer, @DelStateUniv President Tony Allen, and the Delaware delegation to cut the ribbon on the new #COVID19 testing lab at DSU. With this lab, the county will be able to increase testing capacity at a lower cost while also providing good-paying jobs.

Blessed to have been appointed the Executive Director of the @DelStateUniv Molecular Diagnostics Laboratory! Yesterday was the ribbon cutting ceremony and I gave Senator @ChrisCoons , @SenatorCarper , Co. Ex @MattMeyerDE a tour of the facility that they paved the way to be built!

It was our first try at an NIH grant and we were fortunate enough to receive funding! 5 years and $1.3 Million to address human health through wastewater remediation and to increase the amount of underrepresented groups in the STEM fields!
