Happy Thanksgiving! Grateful for family and friends (you know who you are). I also want to thank first responders, hospital staff and everyone working today. 🤎🤍🧡 Recipe for pumpkin gingerbread trifle from @epicurious

Thanksgiving and football go hand-in-hand. I grew up in a town with the oldest public high school rivalry and the storied history is told in this article. Let's see who takes the lead this year in the #Wellesley-#Needham game. needhamlocal.org/2023/11/bad-bl…

Fantastic student presentations this morning. Impressive critical thinking is demonstrated by their understanding of the concepts and their ability to apply them to novel situations. This is one of the things I love about teaching #highered. #Tufts 🐘

Inspired by #InaGarten, roasted a chicken last night and making stock today. Made gingerbread for Thanksgiving trifle and mandelbread (biscotti) for my students during a stressful time of year. All while supporting my fav team. #SundayVibes #FallCooking

Equity in special education is an important topic. Would be helpful to study ways for the state to provide more equitable services at the school level such that districts are empowered to offer out-of-district placements to all students who require them.

School districts across Massachusetts over the past decade have engaged in hundreds of secretive settlements with special-education families, doling out money and services with little state oversight, according to a Globe investigation. trib.al/oyTd6dU

I probably saw this when it was first televised and have remembered it ever since! 😎 #SesameStreet

52 years ago this month, Sesame Street debuted the iconic "I Can Remember. " You ready? "A loaf of bread, a container of milk and a stick of butter.” "A loaf of bread, a container of milk and a stick of butter.”

One has to ask, why only 4 schools? We know how to teach kids to read. We need the will to fund staff so that all schools can offer small group phonics instruction with applications throughout the day. Kids don’t have time to wait for schools study the issue. #reading #education

Four St. Louis schools will be revamping their approach to reading instruction in a new two-year program created to boost literacy for K-3 students buff.ly/3YG230M

Terrific guidance about #Autistic children - a reminder that children may be overwhelmed for all sorts of reasons on #Halloween. Being kind and patient helps everyone. And drive slowly...you never know when a youngster will run into the street while trick-or-treating.
