The Albanese Govt got wages moving after 10 years of flat wage growth by: - giving their own workers payrises - supported minimum wage increases - funded aged & childcare workers pay rises - revived collective bargaining - shut down big business wage cutting schemes

Woolworths Melbourne Liquor Distribution Centre is next! Members walked off to hold a union meeting to discuss next steps in fighting Woolworths wicked “Framework” that is pushing workers too hard. More warehouses still to come today!

The 1st Woolies shed has walked off the job today! This is the 1st shift of warehouse workers to go out the gate at Erskine Park Distribution Centre (EPDC) UWU members are fighting for a cost-of-living increase and to end the "Framework". More sheds to come.. 1/2 #ausunions

How happy are flight attendants after getting pay rises because of Labor’s Same Job, Same Pay laws! Unions fought for over a decade to shut down the big business wage cutting loopholes. The Coalition voted against & Dutton is promising mining companies he will bring them back

Gina Rinehart and Peter Dutton's 2024 (that we know of): - Peter flies to her party in the Pilbara on private jet - 12 hours flying for less than an hour at her party in Perth - Gina's Brisbane mansion for Liberal fundraiser - Gina buys a table for Peter's fundraiser last night

Worked in a job for 4 years where the people beside me were earning $15ph more than me, plus higher super and flex leave etc, for performing the same tasks. Same job, same pay - about time!

Vale Matt Peacock. Working people pay tribute to his life and work exposing James Hardy and saving the lives of so many

We mourn the death of Matt Peacock, the great ABC radio and TV broadcaster and investigative journalist. Matt has died at Royal North Shore Hospital after a diagnosis of pancreatic cancer. His 30 year exposure of asbestosis stands as a profound legacy, saving countless lives.

Visited some happy union members at a meat processing factory who will be seeing pay rises as a result of the Albanese Govt’s Same Job, Same Pay laws that stop labour hire workers being ripped off

Good to know @sallymcmanus that when push came to shove @AlboMP was not influenced to abandon labour hire law reform by Qantas/Alan Joyce. Redeeming. Upgrade or no upgrade.

Qantas and Alan Joyce did not want the Albanese Govt to pass laws to shut down their labour hire wage cutting schemes. They lobbied hard. The PM did not back down on his commitment to working people

Alan Joyce wants Labor’s laws stopped because he has gamed the current laws in every way possible destroying job security & good jobs & customer service. Over a dozen companies employ ppl doing the same job.

Liberal party MPs have pledged to restore big business wage cutting schemes if elected. Working people cannot afford to lose any rights or any pay. A return to Coalition wage suppression is the last thing we need.

The Nursing & Midwives Union is celebrating its 100th anniversary today! Congratulations to Australia’s biggest union on their centenary. @anmf_federal

This result would not be remotely possible if these Qantas workers were not members of their trade union. If you’re not a member - join your union. It’s your only protection against capricious employers. @unionsaustralia @sallymcmanus

Huge win today. Over $100 million in compensation for economic loss and hurt and suffering will go to illegally sacked Qantas workers.

Former Qantas worker Don Dixon says the awarded compensation will go a long way for our families. #QantasJudgement
