Hey Tech Twitter! What are your favourite resources to learn Web Development (Frontend) in Arabic? Asking for a very dear family member who is looking to learn 📚💻 I've found a few courses but can't assess their quality!
For everyone looking at new jobs for 2022, here's some sleepy advice: Go places you know you'll be challenged and work with people who are smarter than you, but avoid roles where you feel you'll have to "prove yourself." Don't waste time posturing and people pleasing
It's legit sad that almost every female Engineer I know (including myself) has experienced this at least once. Don't be that person.
Nothing like a big tech conference to remind you what men in tech think about the rest of us. Them: “You’re in client services?” Me: “Not exactly.” Other them: “You don’t seem that technical.” Me: “I wrote the whole damn session.”
Instead of assuming that people are dumb, ignorant, and making mistakes, assume they are smart, doing their best, and that you lack context.

We shouldn’t glorify the “grind”. Let’s glorify: • 8 hours of sleep • Taking vacation days • Taking regular breaks • Taking mental health days • Working on something meaningful • Turning work off when it’s done • Setting work-life boundaries • Making friends at work
