I’m honored that people still invite me to speak at conferences. I’m unable to accept these invitations due to my ongoing health challenges, but look forward to the day when I can say “yes” again.

Upgraded to Windows 11. We're now back to rounded corners on windows. It seems like this just toggles back and forth with each major release.

Thanks to @sanity_io for the $2,400 donation. We really appreciate it. ❤️🙏

I have to keep reminding myself that flatMap() does map() then flat(), not the other way around.

Used the Zoom AI summary tool for the first time and it was surprisingly good. My only complaint: it needs to understand small talk. Summarizing our discussion of the weather at the start of the call is silly.

It's pretty crazy just how correlated TypeScript, Babel, ESLint, and React are.

After a lengthy investigation, I've found that there's literally no way to get in touch with anyone at Twitter about the ongoing OnlyFans bot spam that fills my notifications every day. And the @Support account appears to not be monitored at all. Have fun out there!

For next week's newsletter, I decided to run the draft through Copilot and asked it to act like a copy editor for a professional publication. I asked it to go step by step and explain any changes. The end result is much better than my first draft. Very pleased.

And my notifications screen is now completely useless thanks to OnlyFan bot accounts. Well done, Twitter.

Do any of my followers work at @shopify? I’m looking to get in touch with the person in charge of open source sponsorships. Any help greatly appreciated. 🙏

If you are still reviewing pull requests in your browser, you really need to try the VS Code GitHub extension. Reviewing PRs directly in VS Code is absolutely a game-changer.
