It is with deep sadness that we mourn the passing of our friend and mentor the Hon Barry Pullen. Barry was a true servant of the community both in public life and later with not for profit organisations. His impact on virtually every social action over decades was profound. RiP

This book is a chronicle of Neil and my early days working together in the high rise towers in Flemington. It tells a story of the importance of community health and legal services to support vulnerable people. I hope you enjoy it. neilcole.au

I was in the gallery fifteen years ago as the Victorian Minister for Aboriginal Affairs along with Charles Williams my advisor. The Apology was an important step on the road to reconciliation.

The Apology to the Stolen Generations was one of my proudest days in Parliament, 15 years ago today. It was a unifying moment for our nation. Later this year, all Australians will have the opportunity to be part of another unifying moment for our country.

It was great to meet some students from Richmond Primary School paying their respects last Friday at the Remembrance Day Service in Barkly Gardens, Richmond As voting begins, we must remember those who fought and lost their lives in defence of our democracy. Lest we forget.

Sisterworks are a phenomenal social enterprise that provide opportunities to migrant woman to become economically empowered. I was so pleased to join Lauren O’Dwyer to announce a re-elected Andrews Labor Govermment would provide $100k to Sisterworks to support their great work.
