It's 40 years since the Jaguar SEPECAT entered the Indian Air Force. What better than to pose with a few of its kitty litter.

If India showed some prudence, they would probably find more meaning in joining a project like this with meaningful workshare, than expending billions behind AMCA, with its realistic timelines likely to stretch into the 2040s. @somnath1978 @kushanmitra @elmihiro @hukum2082

The leaders of Japan, Britain and Italy have discussed the possibility of bringing more nations into their joint fighter aircraft development program. japantimes.co.jp/news/2024/11/2…

The dream to drive cars like these is what got me into automotive journalism in the first place. Without a doubt, the late-90s, noughties and early 2010s were peak period for great cars.

What a front cover this was 🔥 Which of these greats from Autocar's 2004 Britain's Best Driver's Car test are you taking 20 years on?

. @atherenergy truly has the makings of an Indian company with deep focus on R&D like few others across industries.

From battery dreams to EV giant: The Ather Energy story Two IIT graduates set out to solve India's battery problems in 2013. They ended up building the country's premier EV brand. tinyurl.com/mr3hkxdb

One reason why I either take a cool cab from downstairs or hop into a rickshaw. At times the wait times can run dangerously close to your actual flight time. It's indeed a mess at @CSMIA_Official

Getting uber / taxi at Mumbai arrival is absolute mess , THIS IS NOT OK If Dubai mall can have AC waiting area for taxi why can’t @CSMIA_Official ? This not too much or unreasonable ask There even 150 Rs “Parking charge” just to be stuck in poor flow of traffic inside parking…

A dealer in Mumbai told me that 85% of the cars he sold in October through the MS Arena showroom were CNG powered. Pause for a moment to grasp how much Maruti's fuel ratio has changed in a span of 4 years! @hormazdsorabjee @ketan_auto

In 2012, diesels made up over 50% of car and SUV sales in India. That figure is down to just 18% today. What caused diesel's downfall and should you still consider a diesel-powered car? We discuss this in our latest #DeepDrive podcast: autocarindia.com/auto-videos/de…

Looks like the parody "If it's Boeing, I ain't going" is true in every sphere.

A Boeing satellite just exploded. Dozens of satellite fragments are now flying around the geostationary arc. This company just can't stop taking massive Ls...

We should be proud of what the @indiannavy has quietly achieved over the past couple of decades. While we struggle with adequate SSKs, our progress in SSBNs and future SSNs puts us in a rarefied league of countries in the world.

India has launched its 4th nuclear-powered ballistic missile submarine (SSBN) at the Ship Building Center in Visakhapatnam. With 75% indigenous content and armed with K-4 ballistic missiles with a range of 3500 km, the submarine will enhance India's nuclear deterrence,…

An eye for an eye

In a chilling tale of revenge, a 30-year-old man mowed down his father's murderer in Bodakdev after waiting 22 years for an opportune moment. The accused was eight years old when his father was crushed to death in a similar manner. More details 🔗 toi.in/af2TiY

Truly tragic.

Heartbreaking news from EY Pune - a young CA succumbed to the work pressure and nobody from EY even attended her funeral - this is so appalling and nasty!!!

. @amitabhk87 has once again correctly called out the urgent need for electrification of all transportation in India. Naysayers in the industry will keep nitpicking on new tech, but there’s perhaps no single lever more powerful than 100% electrification to reduce fossil fuel…

Find me a cooler EV 2W company than these folks!

Find me an automobile app which is cooler than the new Ather app

:Mic drop:

Jon Stewart, as always, sums it up beautifully.

Oh so agree! Have possibly (misplaced) love for the Napier Railton

Possibly one of the best motorsport photos ever. 1933 Napier Railton on Brooklands.

What the Russia-Ukraine war is teaching us - Guerrilla warfare is back, and how! Smaller, lesser well funded counterparts can cripple a well organised and funded armed force, that's the lesson for future warfare.

Another Ukrainian development related to sea drones has become known. Ukrainian sea drones have learned to mine the sea routes of Russian ships. Thanks to this tactic, four enemy vessels were sunk. As reported in the article by The Wall Street Journal, the Russians, 1/7

Can we let the experts decipher whether this was safe or not rather than armchair ones who view a video from a particular angle and cannot decipher wind speed, landing speed, distance maintained etc.? Mumbai has had high intensity ops for years due to a single runway.

I have been advised that the separation between the 2 aircraft is in conformity with ICAO DOC 4444 and for many years, Dubai & Singapore airport maintain the minimum separation as has Mumbai. The video makes the aircraft appear very close as the video is shot from an angle…
