Pricing: the all-new @MercedesBenzInd has been launched from a starting introductory price of ₹ 78.5 lakh ex-showroom for the E 200. E 220 d retails at ₹ 81.5 lakh and the range-topping E 450 at ₹ 92.5 lakh.
The @MercedesBenzInd E-Class E 450 4MATIC is powered by a straight-six, turbocharged petrol engine and boasts a 0-100kmph time of just 4.5 seconds. That makes it the quickest non-AMG E-Class in India yet!
Surprise surprise! Besides the E 200 petrol and E 220 d, @MercedesBenzInd is also launching the E 450 4MATIC in India today! This is the first time ever that India gets an E-Class with the 450 badge.
The new @MercedesBenzInd E-Class also focuses on sustainability in a big way, and uses 99kg of recycled materials!
The @MercedesBenzInd e-Class is equipped with 8 airbags - including, for the first time ever, a ‘centre’ airbag that will pop up between the driver and front passenger!
Since the last generation, India has only received the long wheelbase version of the @MercedesBenzInd E-Class, keeping backseat comfort and luxury in mind.
Effectively, the @MercedesBenzInd E-Class is also the longest running badge for an automobile in India now, at 30 years old.

The @KiaInd #EV9 will support up to 350kW fast charging - 10 to 80% in 24 mins. Claimed range per charge is 561km.
Based on Kia’s E-GMP platform, the #EV9 offers 385PS and 700Nm, can sprint from 0-100kmph in just 5.3 seconds. Ground clearance is 198mm.
As part of its expansion in the country, or Kia 2.0, @KiaInd is partnering with Amazon, Airtel, MapMyIndia and SoundHound - a clear move in the direction of more tech!
