Sanders asked McConnell to modify his request that immediately following the Senate vote on the NDAA veto override, the Senate would vote on House-passed $2,000 direct payments bill. McConnell objected and Sanders then objected to holding the NDAA veto override vote.
McConnell says this week the Senate will “begin the process” of bringing Pres. Trump’s demands on $2,000 direct payments/Sect. 230 “into focus.” Makes clear Trump linked those, along with some ambiguous voting integrity request, to his signing of Covid relief So still TBD...
