GM just announced a round of layoffs, impacting 1,000 workers. But the company reported Q3 earnings that put it on track for record profits this year. Its CEO received $27M in compensation in 2023. And GM announced $6B in stock buybacks this June. Textbook corporate greed.
People on both sides of the political spectrum need to listen to this. Please!
I'm old enough to remember when polio ripped through the globe and put my six-year-old friends into iron lungs. We dutifully lined up at school to get vaccinated. We eradicated the disease. We protected the common good. RFK Jr being tapped to lead HHS is a disgrace.

I did a couple raw milk posts this week, and a frequent comment was: “if babies can drink raw milk, why can’t adults?” It shouldn’t need to be said but: Human mothers are NOT cows. Human milk is NOT the same as cow milk. NEVER give a human baby “raw” cow milk.

I wish people would realize there was a world wide pandemic 4 yrs ago that affected the economy of the entire world. Not only that but large corporations took full advantage and raised the prices on everything and haven't lowered them since. Stop blaming Biden & Trudeau!
