Latest CPI report just issued. Year over year inflation rate is now 6.4%, the smallest since October, 2021. Core inflation, minus food and energy, is 5.6%.


CPI report just issued. Year over year inflation measured at 6.5%, down from 7.1% last month. Inflation trend continues to move lower. Core inflation now 5.7%.


As a reminder, for most workers, the Illinois minimum wage rate goes up to $13 per hour starting January 1, 2023. Check with your legal counsel for any exceptions.


December CPI report just issued, and dropped to 7.1%, year over year. Last month's number was 7.7%. Inflation continues to decline.
