The very existence of this ad—all the hoops it had to go through in its creation before getting to the point where it was personally promoted by this CEO, all the people who thought 'yes, this is good'—says more than thousands of words could about how tech sees the world.

Meet the new iPad Pro: the thinnest product we’ve ever created, the most advanced display we’ve ever produced, with the incredible power of the M4 chip. Just imagine all the things it’ll be used to create.

I worked at WNYC for 11 years. Seems like we were always dealing with some kind of change & turmoil. And the salaries of upper mgmt never suffered for it. You know what never changed, though? That the people who actually MAKE the content kept their heads down and worked.

THANK YOU to everyone who has supported us in recent days and said NO to layoffs. Following negotiations with the union, NYPR management agreed to enhanced severance terms and limited buyouts but is not pursuing other alternatives to try to save jobs.
