Founders/CEOs itching to replicate Musk's management style fail to appreciate how much the pandemic shifted the basic value system of knowledge workers. Normal, well-adjusted people value time with family & friends over grinding it out to build SaaS software for the owner class.

For context this is near the gas station residents want shut down for all the shootings and drug dealing. And the city has been playing cutesy. As have local attorneys. twitter.com/ericgarland/st…

Yup, just some story about a gas station and a hearing and records. Doesn't name the gas station's owner, just names the attorney, without context. This notorious facility is apparently operated by the INTERSTATE DRUG TRAFFICKERS WHO BRIBED FOUR TOP OFFICIALS IN ST. LOUIS.

Strap in. It's about to get super ugly in St. Louis. Residents report a shallow grave near the gas station owned by the Palestinian drug dealers who were bribing the aldermen. Police were no help at first. What happened next is chilling. stltoday.com/news/local/cri…

Last night, I heard directly from JeffVanderLou residents like Helen about the need to make St. Louis streets safer and how traffic calming measures discourage dangerous driving. Thank you @MoDOT_StLouis and @GreatRiversSTL for joining the conversation! ksdk.com/amp/article/tr…

I personally feel like discussions about how to "maximize the productivity" of people on "autopilot" is tonedeaf without a corresponding discussion of mental health, burnout, capitalism, toxic environments, and work life value differences

A lot of PMs, not passionate about the problems at work, go on "auto-pilot" - i.e doing the bare minimum to get by In big organisations, these PMs are hard to notice but bring down the overall product quality. Here's how to detect and get the maximum out of 'auto-piloters': 🧵

from the perspective of spiritual evocation, the piano is just a singing bowl with 88 keys

My recent back injury has had me doing a lot of spiritual reflection lately. orderoftarot.com/yoga-and-chris…

The spiritual journey continues! Recent exposure to the wonders of Nature has compelled a kind of spiritual reconciliation in my mind and I find myself once again shifting into a new mental framework for understanding my relationship to the Cosmos. orderoftarot.com/why-i-am-aband…

I suspect all true musicians are Platonists deep down in their heart of hearts.

Had my first live piano performance last night at Blue Strawberry's open mic night! I've been playing for about a year and fell in love with improvisation. It was also my first time on a real piano. I'm hooked 😍 youtu.be/amvNZk4ltdU

Agile is quite contradictory. It's both out-of-date and revolutionary. It's both a good idea and too idealistic. It's been tried a million times but it's still rare to see it done well. It can lead to stagnation or transformation. Going through the motions or genuine change.

#Productmanagement youtube is pretty much completely terrible unless you are trying to break into the industry. But I think it's indicative of the general principle that product management is incredibly difficult to formally teach and must be learned on the job through experience

#productmanagement is the art and science of artfully and scientifically mixing art and science to produce artful science and scientific art

What so many commentators are missing about @onemedical and @amazon deal: one quarter of Americans don’t have a PCP and many more don’t have a trusting relationship with one.
