Basically makes Pixel 5 literally just any normal phone like Pixel 4a. The 4 XL despite nobody buying it is still somehow special in a way. Bye, #TeamPixel

Without Face Unlock and the XL version, I see only one reason left to buy the Pixel 5 - the camera. But considering Gcam ports and 4a's existence, why would anyone buy it? Very disappointing.

If the answer is #OnePlusNord, then what's the question? 🤔

That's a first in Android. After Apple ditched 32bit support in iOS 11 and macOS Catalina, Google is now following with Android S. This is a x86_64 emulator running w/o 32bit support. This makes the way for ARM CPUs without aarch32 ISA support like the new Cortex-A65.

People might not realize, but iOS and macOS is basically the same OS. The existence of Catalyst is proof. The only difference here is that it is using the same SOC as iOS devices, so the binaries don't need to be recompiled like Catalyst.

Sigh I am angry that real racists are out there spluring nonsense all over media trying to fear monger the public. I am also angry that people rally to ban the "m word", and think fabricating a problem out of nowhere then fix it is a step forward. NO IT'S NOT

THIS IS IT. This whole “our focus should be on bigger things” mentality is silly. Because you’re making small changes doesn’t inhibit you from making big changes at the same time. People act like you only get one shot at contributing to change.

The recent tragedy reminded me of my personal experience being on the receiving end of racism. It happened to me when I was in year 2 elementary school in New Zealand. One day I was alone on my way returning to class after recess is over, two year 5 or 6 dudes approached me.

And always open source😀

The good thing about Magisk is that it is open source and I always push the latest code to GitHub as soon as possible. No hype, just coding, anyone is welcome to follow along 😀

It is Google's staged roll-out. Not all OTAs are sent to users all at once. Some OTAs have higher priority, some don't. And once you missed the first request (the first time you try to check for an update when an OTA is up), you are likely never going to see it till next month.

This is why we need scoped storage. And tons of developers still disagree and hate me for pointing this out. Scoped Storage != access everything with Android's broken and inefficient storage-access-framework. These 2 stuffs are 2 different topics.

Pokémon Go abusing filesystem access permissions again, now to detect the presence of a TWRP folder and then lock you out #MobileSecurity #AndroidSecurity reddit.com/r/pokemongodev…
