It is bizarre that food production (which keeps us alive) gets more pressure to reduce its footprint than fast fashion, totally unnecessary flights for holidays, the film industry & motorsports. I’m not saying we don’t have a part to play but the legislative focus seems warped.
“There are certain emissions (from food production) that we cannot do without & others where more significant emission cuts can be made without affecting the essentials of life… The real threat to farmers’ future prosperity lies in the very food chain they form the basis of.”
