3000 "non crime hate incidents" a year in the UK 250,000 total Pearson told there was no "accuser" just a "victim", and cops came, but didn't tell her what the (year old?) tweet she was being busted for was Madness. Any sane person can see the only victim here is the accused
The police investigation of Allison Pearson should be a watershed moment. My latest post is now up. andrewdoyle.org/p/the-journali…
This is some bullshit. This is exactly the kind of thing society should be encouraging, instead of forbidding. It's the type of thing the @NAACP should be doing, instead of shilling for #ozempic.

My guy, I'm a big fan but... while I understand being annoyed at "my guy" (🤢), duders saying "I am a big fan but..." Are just trying to communicate that they "normally" agree with u. Perhaps not super useful info, but why u find annoying/bad ?
i will never understand that either especially the "i'm a big fan but" types, which is one of the fastest phrases i block for (almost as bad as "my guy")
Remember the brief time when it was "Trump's Vax" You have probably seen lots of retweets of people saying they wouldn't take it. Here is the NYT's take at the time... Opinion | Gerald Ford Rushed Out a Vaccine. It Was a Fiasco. - The New York Times (nytimes.com)
People (nowadays?) only care about what they're told to care about. Or maybe we only know about their feelz when it's what's prescribed. Either way this tweet hits the nail on the head.
Astronauts: "Houston, we've been trapped up here for months. It's the biggest catastrophe in space since Apollo 13. What's the mood down there on the ground?" Houston: "Oh yeah . . . umm . . . people are concerned." Astronauts: "I bet. Like the world is at a standstill,…
the number of sub-species of mosquito that bite humans is quite small. If we could eliminate them without eliminating the rest, the impact on the world would probably not be noticeable to us.
America eradicated the disgusting screw-worm fly in 1982. Nobody misses it, nobody mourns it. There's probably a dozen or so more species we could get rid of, would people accept that?
> Often, the only way to get the truth is through discovery in a lawsuit. This may be why so many lawsuits concerning elections and other contentious issues are denied on grounds of standing. It’s simply a way to throttle the truth. A🥂 to people like you who pursued truth.
People greatly underestimate the difficulty of dragging the truth out of government entities. If it had not been for Missouri v Biden the truth about government censorship would still be largely hidden. Often, the only way to get the truth is through discovery in a lawsuit.…

I would not have thought it possible, but Google's Ai is even worse at tic-tac-toe than GPT or Claude , i wonder if grok is any better...
it wouldn't give me a mega chad sysadmin. It wouldn't so i asked just for an image of a sysadmin... it said it gave me one... it didn't, but it did give me DEI lesson... wtaf..
Without the government, who is going to stop pastors from saving people from freezing to death?
It's hard not to become bitterly cynical once one sees how often those who should be condemned are celebrated, while those who should be celebrated are condemned.
I'm not sure we must, and I'd bet we won't, but otherwise this is spot on.
Weaponizing the law is a hallmark of failed states and is a catalyst for a rapidly escalating, zero-sum game for total control. We are spiraling and we must pull back from the brink. Washington said it best…
