We are pleased to share our paper testing the accuracy of 3D models scanned through glass! palaeo-electronica.org/content/2024/5… @Val_Fisch @palaeotheoryum @Jestle @CottereauRomai1

This is 100% true. I am lucky I have kind colleagues in paleo who help me in this journey, but still, I'm in this journey __despite__ the so many bullies that have caused me (and colleagues) so much trouble. It'd be nicer without this problem.

Por que a onça-pintada tem este nome? E o que significa seu nome científico, Panthera onca? E por que há quem a chame de jaguar? Este é o tema da minha coluna "Mundo Animal" neste mês. 🐆 chc.org.br/artigo/prazer-…

Well, we (@pegasaurus_42, @Paleo_FabiCosta, @KellnerMn and Tabata Bentes) had our work on a new anhanguerid specimen from the Romualdo Formation published yesterday in Historical Biology: + tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.10…

That would be a blatant lie, on many occasions 🤣🤣🤣

What wonderful news! The "Painten Propterodactyloid" finally has a description and a name. Propterodactylus!

New paper describes a “missing link” in #pterosaur #evolution! The new species #Propterodactylus combines the stiff tail and foot-attached wing of the oldest #pterosaurs with the long neck and one-holed skull of later pterosaurs.

Preprint I had a joy of working on is out! Using ultraviolet and laser simulated flourosence, recovered internal tissues within the elusive tail of Rhamphorhynchus. The pterosaurs had a lattice of elastic soft structures probably limiting flutter, like headsail on a boat.
