So far this year, hundreds of anti-LGBTQ bills have been introduced in state legislatures – many of them target transgender children. Let’s be clear: This is bullying against kids disguised as legislation – and it must stop. Enough is enough.

This agreement will put plumbers and pipefitters to work replacing 100% of the nation’s lead water pipes so that every American can turn on the faucet at home or at school and drink clean water.

The United States has experienced more deaths from COVID-19 than from World War I, World War II, the Vietnam War, and 9/11 combined. We can stop this pandemic. Get vaccinated.

Voting is the foundation of our democracy. The filibuster is not.

Republicans across the country are passing law after law after law to make it harder to vote. They’re gearing up to gerrymander as many safe GOP seats as possible. The message is clear: They’re scared to face the will of the people in a free and fair election.

Our democracy is strongest when everyone participates. We should be fighting to make it easier for every eligible voter to cast a ballot, not harder.

Common sense. Thank you.

An "infrastructure bill" that isn't climate-focused is quite literally not worth passing because climate is the central infrastructure challenge we face, full stop.

During the Obama admin, folks thought we’d have a 60 Dem majority for a while. It lasted 4 months. Dems are burning precious time & impact negotiating w/GOP who won’t even vote for a Jan 6 commission. McConnell’s plan is to run out the clock. It’s a hustle. We need to move now.

Yes! This is how it should always be:

1. Good 2. I don't know if a billion is enough for everyone affected, but I'm glad the NFL isn't getting off for peanuts. 3. None of that changes the fundamentally immoral calculus of football: brutalizing people's bodies for the profit of a few and the entertainment of many.

The NFL says it will halt the use of “race-norming” — which assumed Black players started out with lower cognitive functioning — in a $1 billion settlement of brain injury claims. The practice had made it harder for Black players to qualify. apne.ws/hDTRYVl

I applaud the Nevada legislature for passing legislation to transition from a caucus to a primary. We should be encouraging participation and diversity in our nominating contests—that means getting rid of outdated caucus-style primaries. 8newsnow.com/news/politics/…
