My Teacher Wish List: - Higher pay so we don’t have to work extra jobs. - Smaller class sizes so we can build strong relationships. - More funding for supplies so we don’t have to spend our own money or beg online. - To be respected, valued and supported.
This makes me thinking about how much learning would take place if we lived in a gradeless system—slow, yet meaningful, long-term, stress-free learning.
I wrote the first sentence for him. I wrote the second sentence with him. He wrote the third sentence with me. He wrote the fourth sentence for himself. He kept writing. It was an assessment. But that will skew the grading. Who said anything about grading? We were learning.
