Its nice when hard work is recognized. We strive to make our Schools, City and State safer. Our facility is staffed with individuals who live in our communities and have a vested interest in a better tomorrow . Am proud of the work they do 24 hours a day!
So with 2023 behind us, @MustngPrincipal have made a lot of friends and built some terrific relationships but will all success there were some let downs and this some it up best!

The West Mesa VIP Program was the spring board to build school/community partnerships. Students need positive guidance with adult interaction and what better way than to show them that when we work together great things can happen. WMHS is changing but the work has just begun.

As an @ABQschools parent and mayor, I know how important it is that we make sure our students are safe in and out of school. I’m going to the APS board meeting tonight to talk about the Violence Intervention Program and how it can can help disrupt cycles of gun violence in ABQ.
We as adults shouldn’t need a PHD to teach and reinforce Right and Wrong and that attending school has benefits. But even some of the Policy makers seem to have that small town mentality and forget we have big city problems that we can’t shy away from.
Our students NEEEEEEED structure…. They crave it!!! When will the “powers that be” listen to the people in the midst of it?! If you actually care about our students and their future you’ll listen @ABQschools #FedUp #HelpUsHelpThem #HoldAPSAccountable

So we joined Frontline Coalition a month ago but because of this new wacky @ABQschools schedule it’s been hard to make it. Truancy, Vaping, with no accountability can be frustrating. District officials with great ideas are failing students. Having a place to vent is wonderful!
