1/2 Our paper is finally out in @npp_journal We show that norepinephrine transporter mice which have elevated cortical NE and DA but lower tonic striatal DA have enhanced cognitive flexibility and larger striatal phasic dopamine signals. nature.com/articles/s4138…

Grant unfortunately not discussed. This was at least comic relief when reading the summary statement. I guess connecting flights aren't a thing for the best scientists. Should have pushed for a GNV to SFO flight in my offer letter.

Had a great visit to University of Minnesota @MPaT_PHCL_UMN . @LaurenSlosky thanks for the invite. Had some great conversations with @arifahamid @NicolaGrissom @SpencerLab_UMN

Congratulations to @gstuber and @marykaylobo for organizing a successful #catecholaminesgrc. One of my favorite conferences and the location was fabulous! Scientific and non-scientific conversations at its best!

Great paper, yet another proof that the fixation you use for your staining can make a huge difference: just look at figures 2 and 7! science.org/doi/full/10.11…
