With gratitude, I celebrate 45 years of sobriety.
A reminder to me to be aware of others, not take anything for granted, especially how someone is faring and finally to always listen to that voice that says “reach out no matter how little impact you fear you might have”.
What's clear is that we as men need to be & do better. This burden can't fall on women. It's on men to talk to our sons (and daughters), preach to our churches, engage in small groups and advocate in workplaces. We have to treat women and their whole bodies with utmost respect.
I learned that one of my children has blocked me from Twitter, my wife thinks that this is perfectly fine and normal. Me? I think the famous philosophers of Full House said it best “HOW RUDE!”
