Lots of doom posting about the tech job market lately, but I'm hearing AWS is hiring. And if AWS is hiring, then job market can't be that bad. Even in 2023, there was a lot of bloat and they barely cut.
The main reason why you need employees in a post GPT-5 world is to have them generate and steer AI for your business.
Everyone thinks that AI makes senior workers more valuable. Let them think that. The best value is in hiring junior workers augmented with AI.
