What's the AI equivalent for forking a software repo? Finetuning a model! Today we introduce a new feature on the Hub: We now display which base model a given model is: • finetuned from, • or is an adapter (LoRA, PETs, etc) for. This also enables a genealogic graph of all…

This is genius

The wildest, most unhinged reality TV show yet, hosted by yours truly. 😘 Get ready for Love Language, a Duolingo and @peacock original series coming soon…or is it?

This has been such an excellent year for software system design in ML. So, I compiled a list of some of my favorite papers 📜in MLOps. Here are some of my favorite ones till date⤵️

🚨Happy to share our new paper "SGD with large step sizes learns sparse features" arxiv.org/abs/2210.05337! ❓Why do longer SGD schedules generalize better? What kind of hidden dynamics occurs when the train loss stabilizes? How is that related to sparse feature learning? 🧵1/10

Dear Roger,my friend and rival. I wish this day would have never come. It’s a sad day for me personally and for sports around the world. It’s been a pleasure but also an honor and privilege to share all these years with you, living so many amazing moments on and off the court 👇🏻

I've been thinking more about testing data & ML pipelines and why some tests break—incorrectly—more than others. So let's: • Build a basic pipeline & test it • Add new data & observe how tests break • Suggest how to make pipeline testing less brittle eugeneyan.com/writing/testin…

How do you draw an owl: 1. draw some circles 2. click "Diffuse the rest" We have made the greatest thing since MS Paint (using #stablediffusion): huggingface.co/spaces/hugging… Looking forward to seeing what you'll generate with it 😊

How are people unit testing data transforms or machine learning code? Asserting actual vs. expected output on rows and columns can be overly brittle. And upstream changes to data transforms can mean updating ml code expected output (e.g., probabilities). Is there a better way?

What can we expect for the #F1 debut at the #QatarGP 🇶🇦? I've extended my analysis of @pirellisport's tyre characteristics to include the track characteristics from @MercedesAMGF1's previews! This indicates that Lusail will be similar to USA and Imola. It will be a close fight!
