Southern Cryonics, Alcor, Tomorrow Bio, Cryopets. Just a few years ago, three of these organizations did not exist. The cryonics field is beginning to see new talent, new ideas, and new promise for the future.

That's right, none of us at the globalcryonicssummit.com (just happened this weekend) will be old, ugly, or dead in 50 years. Come say hi next time! 🧊

What we can accomplish today would have been viewed as nothing short of magic for most of human history. Tell me again that cryonics will never be possible.

Those who long for more life aren't expecting non-stop utopia. Life is worthwhile even in moments of boredom.

It seems like people don't think that cryonics could ever work because they only imagine advancement a few iterations ahead of current technology. But when you zoom out over long periods, you'll see that much of what was thought impossible in the past is standard practice today.

It's become popular to shit of Effective Altruism, especially since the FTX debacle, but I have to give EA credit for being one of the only movements that puts agency onto its followers to enact change instead of just virtue signaling. Their impact to whining ratio is unmatched.

Imagine thinking that being cryopreserved and stored in a dewar is weird, but decomposing and being eaten by worms is totally fine.

The Global Cryonics Summit will include debates on cryonics topics like Mind Uploading vs. Biological Revival. Are you more interested in this debate from a philosophy angle (is an uploaded you really You) or a technical angle (which method is superior at preserving identity)?

But death is natural! She should have just accepted it and been eaten by worms! 🙄

She will come back. We will make it happen.

Incredibly accurate.

Dear people who think death acceptance is ethical.

People insist that it’s totally fine, good even, that human’s die in their 80’s. What’s so magical about that age? Over 95% of human history was hunter gatherer times, where the life expectancy was around 31. I bet you’re glad that’s not the case anymore. Why settle now?
