It is indeed sad that often you get no action until it's made public. But, often that is the only recourse. We need leaders who care more and act before it hits the media.
Often times it's not for lack of trying on the part of those who want help. I always say media is usually last resort for persons. People write, email, call, visit to no avail...until it's made public via press and then you get action. Not supposed to be this way
