I am calling on industrialized countries to fulfill their commitments to end hunger. This means meeting the 0.7% ODA goal & climate finance commitments, ensuring fair trade & market conditions for developing countries, and debt relief for LDCs. A world without hunger is possible!

As we come to the end of the #WWHC, we reflect on the purpose that brought us here: the unwavering commitment to end global hunger. Over these days in Addis Ababa, we saw leaders & changemakers unite, mobilize investments & inspire action to make a #WorldWithoutHunger a reality.

This Friday, we are hosting the Cities and Development conference. It will be streamed. When we started this in 2016, it was barely a field in econ. Amazing work is now happening, but cities are still underrated. If you're in Cambridge and want to come, send me a DM for info.

How the World Became Rich by @MarkKoyama and @jaredcrubin is a terrific survey and synthesis of the exciting research about the deep origins of growth that has blossomed in the last two decades. It's also on the shorter and more readable side. My review. goodreads.com/review/show/67…
