As the story has been told and retold about how it's impossible for a team other than a works outfit to win the WCC in the hybrid era, this has been a monumental achievement by McLaren... Also, another Constructors title win for a Merc PU based team shows they've still got it.
And as for the others, it's weird arriving here with McLaren and Ferrari fighting for the WCC. So weird. Who would've said that at the start of the year.

As much as I'd like Max to lose the 2021 championship, I think if GR was in "Lewis Hamilton's shoes", the title wouldn't have dragged to the final race, Max would've won it much earlier. GR is not an elite driver. Plain and simple.

Logic would say they should do it the same way they did with the Schumacher brothers, MSC and RSC. However, Charles being in F1 for a long time might change things, maybe they'd just call Arthur "ALE"... Which would be cool.

You really don't need to be an F1 engineer to dissect the onboards of GR and Lewis to see that they're driving cars with totally different handling. And add to that, when the team consistently screws his races, it's difficult not to be paranoid.
This is a case of selective journalism. When your lead driver is winning races in a dominant car and your 2nd driver can't even get podiums, and worse still, when that same lead driver gets consistent top 5 results when the car is 3rd fastest and the 2nd driver can't make top…

Much needed win in the #UEL for United. Could've and probably should've been 5-2 at least on the night but for our wastefulness. Tells you a lot about the current state of where we're at when we're struggling to beat teams like these in Europe's 2nd tier competition.
