Lots of tweets today about the ICC arrest warrants for Netanyahu, et al. Regardless of your position, Hamas has literally never posed an existential threat to Israel. Not during either Intifada, not on 10/7/2023, never. Anyone who says otherwise is either an idiot or a liar.
This is a political decision dressed up as a legal one. It can only bring the ICC into disrepute. Israel is fighting for survival against Hamas terrorists following the October 7th attacks. To equate Hamas terrorism with Israeli defensive measures is a disgrace.

Yes, Israel thinks that Iran is the source of all its military and political woes. But that’s flawed analysis from cognitive biases that protect Israel from having to confront the consequences of its own actions. Just because that’s what Israel thinks doesn’t make it correct.
