Grateful to Gold River families who attended the Community-Led Collaboration Project session. Our team is amazed by the generosity of the families who gave their time and ideas about how to build a better network of services and supports for children and youth with support needs.

The research proves it: It’s worthwhile to hire older workers. hbr.org/2019/09/the-ca…

Folks, if you’re concerned about the future of Ideal Mini, the QEA land “disposal”, VSB budget etc., the @VSB39 is holding one of its rare “open to the public “ meetings on Monday at 7 pm. Go. Ask questions. Make yourself heard. #vanpoli

So well said…❤️ @MiniIdeal #saveideal

The public school system already doesn't often acknowledge the oddball kids, or develop modes of teaching that help them rather than hurt them. Can we not preserve the one school in Vancouver that does all of this?

True consultation included meaningfully listening. In this case, it’s about @VSB39 acknowledging the hurt their actions have caused to a community of amazing students and families. So proud to see our PAC Chair speak to passionately tonight. Thank you @PreetiFaridkot for coming.

It makes far more sense to use the @VSB39’s Laurier Annex to accommodate Laurier students than to abruptly displace Ideal Mini school, which would destroy so much of what makes Ideal work for its students. @MiniIdeal @VanDPAC #vanpoli globalnews.ca/news/9628341/c…

An incredible story about our amazing and inclusive little school. #idealLove @CTVNews

So proud to be part of the Ideal community. I really hope @VSB39 listens and consults the brave students who spoke from the heart today about their love for their safe and inclusive school. #idealLove

Thank you @pattibacchus for retweeting and sharing! Our @IdealMini community is grateful!

We are fighting for our mini school! In a world of uncertainty, Ideal is a safe, inclusive place for our kids to thrive. I’m shocked at the lack of consultation. Our kids are gutted. @VSB39

Glad to hear this horrifically sexist rule will be changed. Well done to the Norwegian women for taking a stand. My daughters think you’re awesome. So do I. @Tokyo2020

The Norwegian Women’s Beach Handball team is facing fines for wanting to wear shorts instead of bikini bottoms. The bottoms are not to cover “more than 10cm on any sides.” The men’s team wears shorts. The sexualization of women athletes must stop. insider.com/norwegian-hand…
